It didn't come from Al-Bunny ? ??? (meaning, the bunny). And you how New Yorkers have pronunciation problems, so something like New Yorker become New Yawker. So maybe Al-Bani came from Al-Bunny, and to remove the Arab flavor its now Albani? Right? ;) |

| was waiting for some albanyian to fix this, but no one seemed to notice: brooklyn, bronx, manhattan, long island, and staten island all make up NEW YORK CITY well, long island is right next door, but that other borough is called queens. ;) |
