But I think for the sake of my sanity, I have to stop perusing boards w/ non Muslims, or at least perusing them too much. Well, the political ones anyway. I decided that if the Islam boards on AOL can't be a refuge for Muslims (and they aren't), then what better place than Madinah to be around people who are a comfort, and ... mash'Allah, where I don't have to hear the Fascist News Network & CNN's racist views on Arabs spewed back at me. | Salaam 'Alaikum Yes it's me, Saraji... I got the e-mail when the board moved, or changed, or whatever, and I did log on since then. But for some reason yesterday, when I tried to log on, it said that "UmmZaid" as a username did not exist. I double checked from old posts of mine, to make sure I had it spelled right, with no space in b/t the words, and figured it got deleted somehow. But wah, I'm a "newbie" now... :P A poem huh? Hmmm. I got an e-mail from a Jannah-ite saying that they were putting up an e-poetry zine, and I'm going to have 3 poems there I think. Is it up yet? I haven't gotten an e-mail about it, so I guess not... How about an article? I have one in this month's Q-News. It's all political though, and I am on a self-imposed politics ban this week. :) |
