We are planning the usual stalls, tea garden etc and as well as talks about abuse, drugs, enterpreneurship and empowerment. Auctions, craft demonstrations, Mehndi designs etc will be included, Insha Allah. We would also like to include [u]activities[/u] to gain maximum participation and wondered if anyone had any ideas in this regard please? | [slm] I always show up where their is good food! "Feed them and they will come!" How about a sundae table! or a Chocolate tasting table!- do not have the body awareness table anywhere near this! Also- I like Islamic information tables. Many times I want to order something- but by catalog i am never sure what the item is like. Perhaps a table set up with CD's and tapes with a boom box. Also if anyone has teen type books- or factual books- add that. Another idea- call a Karate school and have a hour self defence time- with a couple dollar admission- to pay for the female instructer. |
