| Salam All, I have been reading this board for the past month or so and I must say I am very impressed by the quality of the community you have managed to nurture here. It is a true achievement, to be able to create an environment where so many people can express themselves without excesses or too much bad temper. Especially while the muslims are being tested and challenged so extensively across the world and in all walks of life. In the middle of the storm and turmoil, you seem to have been able to create a haven of peace. This is a credit to the people behind this board, as well as the numerous tallented and well intentioned people who contribute here. As a quick introduction to myself, I am a middle aged man who came originally from North Africa, but have been living in the UK for a very long time. I work in the "troubled" IT industry, and I am currently "in between jobs" as we say here ;-) and that is the only reason I had enough time to actually find out about this board. I hope I can occasionaly contribute positively, to your board, in one way or another, although I must admit, I am much more a lurker than a contributor. I pray that Allah guide, protect, and lighten your load on his path. May the Lord of the Universe increase your knowledge, and strenghten you in the straight path. Your brother, Witness. |
