| [slm] Well almost live, you guys know that [glow=red,2,300]Native Deen [/glow]has an internet radio show every FRIDAY @ 6:00PM on www.ibn.net . It's called ON THE SCENE with [glow=red,2,300]Native Deen [/glow]. Last fridays show was taken from a concert [glow=red,2,300]Native Deen [/glow] did in Austin Texas. The sound system in austin wasn't the best, but you still can get a good feel of what it's like to be at a native deen concert, and what the radio show is like. Check the show out, on the archives, that would be MAY 10th. Come back and tell me what you think. And listen to the old show too, [glow=red,2,300]Native Deen [/glow]could really use some feedback to make the radio show alot better, thanks again. | as salaamu alaykum, mashaAllah rock on bruzza 8) the recording is actually pretty good.. how many ppl were at the show? it sounds like a lot from the cheers :) the Ramadan Song sounds awesome live :) wasalaam :) ps - naeem your quote is cool: "Be Muslim". It reminds me of when Calvin Klein came out with some new perfume a while back, and they had commericals like "be wild, be bold, just be.." yours could be like "be sufi, be salafi, just be Muslim." hehehe :) |

| SAlaams, Yeah I think there were like 150 to 200 people there. It was alot of fun, the crowd was crazy there. Oh and the quote, that's like my slogan right now, Be Muslim, simple and straight to the point. |

| salam, hmm weird that link doesn't work in Netscape!! Ok if you're in Netscape open Windows Media Player yourself and go to Open >URL > and paste in http://www.ibn.net/archives/scene/130.wma the ramadan song is so much better live!!!!! how come it doesn't sound that good on the tape??? btw get this... i'm going to get my kids to sing the Hellfire song at graduation...they wanted to come out with black capes and candles.. kinda scary huh :o they're each memorizing a part and then we're all learning the chorus... so i really have to thank you guys... i think someone should make lesson plans based upon the songs.. after they were familiar with this song...they just were all into the Day of Judgement lesson... "in your left you get your book in your left if you're bad!!!" whew before i even went over that part ;) May Allah reward you guys for all your work!!! |

| Salaams, jannah, that's the best part, people getting what we're saying and learning from. Just like how we explained in the song "intentions". You know the kids in NYC liked the song so much, when we came the second time to do it, they darkend the room and smoke and red lights on us. It really sets the mood. And the lesson plan is a excellent idea. oh zeyn, john did a good job on stage. UT austin's MSA member are very talented. |
