| is anyone else having trouble replying or starting a new topic?? i had to give up again on two replies. after trying one, then the other, then going back to the first one, i decided to wait it out and see just how long it took. but, though i'm pretty patient, after two whole minutes and still stalled out i gave up. i got in to this new topic box pretty quickly though, for once. there are 11 people (users and guests) now - in case that was a question..... this happens both at home (phone line) and lab (airport direct to school server), and doesn't seem to be related to either the time of day or anything else i can figure out.... oh, and it doesn't seem to be related to the bit rate when i dial-in to the school, either. mwishka |

| It may just be the server.... When there is no activity it goes quickly, when there is it's slow. And not just the messageboard, but there are other parts of the site pulling on the server like the audio, and the stuff I do on the server itself running scripts sometimes. Me and 7 learned from our freaky internet week awhile ago and if our reply doesn't go through (stalls) we copy the text in the box and save it for pasting later or copy it, then refresh the page and paste it again and try to send it.. |

| Assalaamu alaikum, Lately the server has been behaving erratically. There are periods when it works fine (sometimes slowly) and others when one cannot access the site (i.e. get a message like site not found, or the download times out). Maybe Jannah.org becoming too large and popular for the server, or the server needs a tune up. I usually write stuff out before posting so I can always post later if it doesn't work the first time :) Wasalaam. |

| Hmm I should do some statistics on the logs and see what's up...btw I just did a boardmod that's supposed to make things faster a little? so let's hope :) |
