citizenship of a non-Muslims state

Since there is another thread running with sort of same subject, I just thought of this.

Is it lawful for a Muslim to take an oath of allegiance to the British Queen or to US flag or any other non-Muslims state (because of immigration or any other reason!!!) while he has got it very clear in his mind that if there is any conflict between his country of origin and his country of citizenship, his sympathies and probably his actions too will be completely for the former? Does any one know of any authentic ruling on this subject?

something my sister wrote:

I refuse to give allegiance to a flag that doesn't uphold the values it professes.
I refuse to support terrorism and facism in the name of patriotism.
I refuse to believe that killing innocent people on purpose amounts to collateral damage.
I refuse to let the state tell me how to think.
a  political boundary can not contain my humanity.

A lot of people would consider that treason.

I don't think treason applies to the above. The above is an expression of freedom of speech. I thought that was allowed, although in these days of heightened patriotism to the detriment of constitutional laws, I've wondered.
