| [slm] My stepmom called an hour ago my time and said my Dad has had a heart attack- he's 74. Please send healing du'as his way. He's in Tulsa, OK. visiting my sick Gra'ma when this happened, and I have no vehicle to go be with him, but insh'Allah I can make arrangements to get there. He's not Muslim, but he has been supportive of my decision, even to wearing hijab, so any du'as would be appreciated, and I thank you all in advance. [wlm] :-) Laila |

| [slm] Thank you to any who prayed for my Dad- he's home now and doing good, but he's not happy with the restrictions placed on him. It was evidently his 2nd heart attack-the 1st was unknown- and now he has to do several things to prevent a 3rd- and final the Dr. said- attack. I was the only one of his 4 kids who traveled to Oklahoma to be with him and my stepmom- I feel really thankful to Allah(swt) for helping me- I had a surprise deposit of extra unemployment $$'s that allowed me to fly there. I caused quite a stir- a white lady in hijab(all in the cause of Allah[swt]). [wlm] :-) Laila |
