From a CAIR report:

By Ray Henry, The Boston Globe, 5/15/02

STOUGHTON - A nervous manager created a stir last night after she saw four Muslim men saying their evening prayers at the BJ's wholesale club and called authorities, fearing that the group was about to launch a terror
attack, officials said.

The manager called Stoughton police, who called State Police. A bomb squad was deployed to the store as it was evacuated. The Stoughton Fire
Department also sent a squad of firefighters with a fire truck* Until they
called the FBI in Boston, local authorities apparently didn't know that
Muslims typically pray five times a day, including once around sunset,
Stoughton Police Lieutenant Francis Wohlgemuth said. Wohlgemuth said that while Stoughton police have handled several bomb threats since Sept. 11, they have not received training on Muslim customs...

back at uni one of my mates hads these massive rad speakers

so at 12 o'clock at night we put them out in the street and switched on nusrat qawaali and he says at the beginning 'Alllaaaahhh......"

that noise totally reverberated in the whole block of street and soundede so eerie and next moment every door in the street was open...

man they couldn't tell where the sound was comming from cause it echoed and  a few of them actually looked up into the sky...they must have thought judgement day was here..... ;D   ;D   ;D   ;D

umm muqaddar... can I ask WHY you guys did that?? besides disturbing the sleep of every neighbor there and having them mutter "dang mozlims" as they slammed the door?

talk about anti-dawah... and we wonder why people call the bomb squad when  people start praying

not to jump on the band wagon,  but wouldn't this be a form of blasphemy, using God's name in vain?

Muqaddar man that was the funniest thing I've heard in a very long time. :D  :-/ ;D
I almost choked myself to death on the bebzi I was drinking at hte time.  [] If only I had been there with you guys to see the puzzelled looks on the people. Gotta admit you people have gutts.
Though I would like to point out that it wasn't a nice thing to do.  ;)
