| Salam all, I was approached today by a girl studying theology at the christian college next door to my university. She was doing a class in Islam, and wanted me to fill out a questionnaire, and said she was quite interested in learning more. She's from Korea orignially, where most people are either Christian or Bhuddist. Anyway, we exchanged email addresses, and i know this is an excellent opportunity for dawah, so how do i go about it???? I'm not quite sure where to go from here, she's interested in coming to the uni prayer facility, but since term is over, only brothers will be there for jummah. I can send on emails to her about any conferences, but i want to do something more, so any suggestions pple?? jazakallah wasalams |

| wlm, maybe just keep in touch with her and be her friend... that is the best way to make dawah. just through your everyday interactions you can explain a lot about yourself and islam. something interesting someone said to us this week in terms of dawah after returning from some wayyy out there country school doing a presentation on islam; we were discussing how those kids have never met a muslim and probably never will again if they live their whole life up there!! (how sad) and a bro said.. you know we are just putting the seeds by this dawah... so people can open their minds.. and the fruit we may never see... it may even come in the generation after us... and this I really believe is the key to dawah... we are just planting the seeds, opening people's minds, giving them information and ideas, spreading the message. |
