| Taking a ghusul after approaching ur husband |

| Assalamalekum all, I wanted to know if its ok for a women to pray without gushul after she has approachd her husband knowing that not much time has left for the salat. What should a person do if they are caught in a situation, where its a prayer time and they are engaged with their husbands . Is it ok for the person to take ghusul and make up the prayer later on knowing that its going to be a qada, or is it ok that just do wadoo (without taking the ghusul )and offer that prayer so one doenst miss that particular prayer. |

| [slm] It depends on what you mean by engaging with the husband. If it means sexual intercourse, then Ghusal is Fard(obligitory). If it is other then sexual intercourse, then Wudhoo is just fine. About missing the Salaah because one is engaged with her husband, it is not good to miss any Salaah. I think before engagement, there should be an understanding and a conciousnoss of Salaah from both the wife and the husband. Salaah has priority over this activity, and Allah knows best. [wlm] |
