| Assalaamulaikum All, My sister lives in Torrance california and has two boys who still need to learn how to read the Quran. They are 8 and 10 respectively. Now, the problem is that whenever she's tried some classes, the teacher is very harsh including the fact that some of them beat the kids...another thing is that she would prefer that her boys learn the proper accent and not just the Pakistani pronunciation. JAzaak Allahu khairan to anyone who could find a person who knows tajweed and is willing to get them started. |

| [slm] There are Quraan classes at Islamic center in Hawthorne and I had a chance to read Qiyam al lail behind the the teacher there. He recites awsome Masha Allah. I'm not familiar with Torrance but can help you with San Fernando Valley insh Allah. [slm] |
