| Assalaamu alaikum, I'm not sure if this has been discussed in a previous thread or not. I needed some verses from the Qur'an that are marriage related for wedding invitations. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance :-) |

| [slm] Insha'Allah i pray this reaches you in the best of health and iman...here are a few ayahs about marriage 25:54 It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things). 49:13 O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). "And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in peace and tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): Verily in that are signs for those who reflect" (Quran 30:21). "O Humans revere your Guardian Lord, Who created you from a single person created of like nature its mate, and from this scattered (like seeds) countless men and women. Reverence Allah through Whom you claim your mutual rights" (Quran 4:1). "Surely by time humans are at loss, except those who believe and do righteous deeds and counsel each other to the truth and counsel each other to Sabr' (Quran, chapter 103).
