(corner of Clinton Ave & N Pearl St) & RALLY at 4:30PM to 6:30 PM at the Armory (corner of Washington & Lark ) End the Israeli Occupation of Palestine END US AID to the OCCUPATION Support Self-Determination for the Palestinian People v On this the 35th Anniversary of the Israeli Occupation of Palestinian Lands, it is time for the US Government to join the world consensus that demands a full and complete Israeli withdraw from all the lands still occupied as a result of the 1967 WAR. v We agree with UN Sec. Gen Kofi Annan who has condemned Palestinian suicide attacks as “morally repugnant” but who charged the Israelis with violating the fundamental principles of international humanitarian law and human decency and who demanded that Israel “stop the bombing of civilian areas, the assassinations, the unnecessary use of lethal force, the demolitions and the daily humiliation of ordinary Palestinians.” v We enthusiastically support the millions of Israelis and Palestinians who desperately desire a true Peace which includes an end to the occupation And v We recognize that we as Americans have a special responsibility to tell our government to stop spending $14 million a day in aid to Israel until Israel agrees to follow international norms (such as UN resolutions, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the 4th Geneva Convention) Our money is used to build and protect the illegal Israeli settlements and to collective punish Palestinian people as a whole inflicting gross human rights against them.
