We are pleased to announce that by the grace of
Allaah JIMAS have managed to organise a lecture
tour by Shaikh Rafil Dhafir during June bank
holiday weekend alhumdulillaah.

Here is a brief introduction to Shaikh Rafil.

He is originally a graduate from the Univ. of Baghdad
School of Medicine and currently a specialist in
Oncology as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor at
the State Univ. of New York in Syracuse. He is the
founder and President of "Help the Needy" charity for
the suffering Muslims of Iraq. Also, he is the Vice
President and part of the Board of Trustees of the
Islamic Assembly of North America and the former
President of the Islamic Society of Central New York
in Syracuse.

Shaikh Rafil will be a speaker at the following
event fully on:

This seminar will cover various issues related
to health and cure from an Islamic perspective
and will consist of lectures and ample time
for questions and answers. The seminar will try
and address such topics as Islamic hygiene and
cleanliness, modern day medical practices and
difficulties faced by Muslims and their solution,
birth related issues (conception, pregnancy,
delivery, abortion) and purification, sexual
diseases and female ritual cleanliness.

All lectures will be delivered by Shaikh Rafil
unless otherwise indicated.
