assalaamu alaikum Does anyone know any place in London to buy decent shalwar kameezes? I went to Daminis but anything they have good is in silk, and everything else is horrendously overpriced or lame. Kashif Wa Salaam |

assalaamu alaikum I've looked around online a bit, but alot of the good shops don't have web-sites, and even if they do, they are very poorl maintained. Besides i'd like to see the clothes in person before paying the cash. *smile* Kashif Wa Salaam PS my cousin's wife recommended a couple of places on Green Street, so i'll check those out soon insha'allah. |

[slm] Let's see now, there is a place in southall that does tailor made shalwaar kameez - don't know the name though sorry. stratford road birmingham does alot of asian clothes, try there. although travel costs will make you wish you had settled for a suit from london instead. ;D [wlm] [wlm] |

assalaamu alaikum There are some nice ones i found in a place called Farha fashions, and another in a place called Priya Sarees. Both on Green Street. However, they were a bit more luxurious than shalwar kameezes. They're pretty cool though. jzk for everyone's input. Kashif Wa Salaam |
