OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (IAP News): Human rights activists operating in the Occupied Territories of the West Bank have expressed profound anxiety over the repeated abduction of Palestinian children by Israeli soldiers and agents of the Shin Beth.

One human rights worker in the Hebron area described Israeli behavior as being "wicked."

"What they are doing shows that the Israeli army observes no red lines, it is no holds barred."

On Sunday, the Palestinian newspaper "al Hayatul Jadida" reported that Israeli security agents abducted an 11-year-kld child from the village of Jalqamos, near Jenin, and took him to a nearby settlement where the child was subjected to various forms of terrorization.

The paper quoted the child, identified as Muhammed Abdullah al Haj, as saying that a civilian car bearing Israeli license plates stopped suddenly next to him and the driver asked him to guide them to a martyr's home nearby.

However, when the child got into the car, he was dumbfounded and handed over to an Israeli army patrol three kilometers away.

The army jeep reportedly took the thoroughly terrified child to a nearby Jewish settlement (the Jenim settlement), where the soldiers threatened to let police dogs attack and devour him if he didn't inform them on the whereabouts of some village youths.

The child said the soldiers also asked him about the number of policemen in his village and who amongst them carried firearms.

Several hours later, the jeep reportedly took the child and dropped him off three kilometers away from the village.
