| assalamu'alaikum guys... Kinda funny, on one list, we have sisters posting in the Ikhwaan message list about unhelpful brothers, and on the sisters message board, the hottest topic is helping out a sister who is dying to learn how to cook to please her husband.... talk about confusing. Don't you love how we have the ability to keep things simple. If we're married, we talk about the deen, sports and food...three seperate topics. If we're unmarried, we talk about getting married to complete our deen, getting married and still playing sports, and getting married and eating food... somehow its always one topic. Girls discuss recipes and cooking, while eating less and losing weight. Guys talk about food and eating, without too much fat to gain weight. Girls talk about how to make their friends feel more welcome when they come over. Guys just kind of insult each other in the most sarcastic way possible to show their affection. Girls need the perfect emotional environment to be happy. Guys.... a wife... a 300 hp car... and enough money to take care of the wife and buy gas for the car. a girl takes pride in her education to prove that she can do it a guy... to get a girl, cause that's what her mommy and daddy care about. girls take care of their skin. guys... skin? oh...yeah... we wash our face when we shower. girls use a loofa sponge... guys...what the heck is a loofa sponge?? (I myself didn't know until someone told me once) if a girl tells her husband about someone else's husband and how that relationship is "perfect", that's a discussion, 'why should he get upset' If a guy gives an example of anther person's wife and how she should try to behave more like that sometimes, there's an argument which will never be forgotten. Venus and Mars... more like Mercury and Pluto.... |
