[slm] This poem is composed, depicting the pain and sorrows of humanity as a whole – I wrote this after I saw the crimes done on Muslims of Bosnia and can also be a picture of Palestine Muslims as well as Gujarat and in whole all the victims of Wars and calamities give your views on this poem Echo Of The- I close my eyes in a peace of mind; But suddenly to hear the echo of some kind. The echo in space, out of sound, of insatiable mortal. The echo has the words, the words which want bread; The bread to quench the hungry soul in shred. The echo in space, out of sound, of insatiable mortal. The echo has the words, words which want a piece of cloth; The cloth to cover the egoistic society’s blot. The echo in space, out of sound, of insatiable mortal. The echo has the words, the words which ask for shade; The shade where they can veil their grief, and then them self-fade. The echo in space, out of sound, of insatiable mortal. The echo has the words, the words which ask for the cure; The cure to heal wounds and pain, breath air a little pure. The echo in space, out of sound, of insatiable mortal. The echo has the words, the words which ask for peace; The peace which can yield atleast a moment of silence for those- Who has died in the war, and forever make a truce. The echo in space, out of sound, of insatiable mortal. When the echo died, my eyes opened; A shock ran in my spine, my head spanned; There was a shadow standing in the dark; A little I can see, the worlds barbarous torture marks A yell of help echoed from my soul; My shadow came to rescue with a relief bowl; And then we sat together, and asked to each other- Can there be echo of such sound... But the source of the insatiable mortal, after a Long search was not found... But there exist an echo… The echo in space, out of sound, of insatiable mortal. [wlm] |
