| Bismillah 'ir Rahman 'ir Raheem. [slm] to all the members of this neat hi-tech subsection of the Ummah: This is my first post to this forum. So far, I've had a chance to read several threads on some interesting topics and I really think that mash'Allah, this is a friendly online Muslim community, and I'm glad that I have a chance to post a message here. Alhamdolillah. And of course, may Allah the Exalted bless and reward all the hard-working people behind this site, and enable you to continue this work. Now, my question is about Youngstown, Ohio and that general area. Does anybody know specifics about the Muslim community over there, i.e. pertaining to opportunities for traditional style study of Qur'an, Arabic, fiqh, etc? :-X |

Asalamu Alykum, I am from Cleveland :) and we really don't really have maybe madrasa's like some areas in chicago.. But Alhamdulliah our Masjid www.iccleveland.org has some great classes going on. Our Imam recently started Quran and the tafseer classes in English and than for the urdu speakers one the uncles started something similiar. I know there is this summer camp that will take place in Toledo, however, i have to get more info regarding that(inshaAllah will e-mail you). Also check out www.deen_intensive.com Also, try to get in touch w/ knowledgeable people in youngstown. We are blessed here with a wonderful sister who studied in syria and got her ijaza from there and she dedicates her time w/ some of the sisters. She is also starting this scholarship fund to send people to differnent cities in the U.S for summer deen intensives and other camps. InshaAllah if you need more info please let me know.
