| here's a link to the article that's in the local paper today. many mistakes: "internal minister" for interior minister, "peacekeepers" for "people working for peace", 20 of us put on plane not 30, we did reach the US consulate and they said they wouldn't help us, we were held for 8 hourrs - for two hours we sat on the floor in a hallway. and my last statement wasn't quite as bratty as it was printed - the question was first about an apology, and then "what would you like to see happen in an ideal situation?" "ideally, i'd like to get to go on my trip, and do what we set out to do. since neither i nor some of the other people in the group could come up with this money again, let them pay for us to take the trip we had planned," or something like that. plus a number of things i said came out kind of off, for example, i don't take "medicine" for my hypoglycemia..... they wouldn't get me water or anything to drink so i could take some medicine i needed. http://www.troyrecord.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=4498934&BRD=1170&PAG=461&dept_id=7021&rfi=6 mwishka |

| ahhh, i see that you don't get any pictures for the troy record on-line.... so, mwishka gets to remain mysteriously unidentified for at least a bit longer...... ;) |

| It is 2:35 am, the office is quiet. I read this thread, open the news link and <deleted>. Here are what I found which has nothing to do with the thread. | um, let's see..i think i could answer you in two ways.... ya nye ponimayoo po-angliskii. shto vwii skazhilii?? or, i could remind SOME PEOPLE on this board that there are reasons for being as paranoid as SOME PEOPLE think i am, and that there are reasons for never signing guestbooks, never getting on mailing lists and whining like mad when websites make you register even though SOME PEOPLE think it's no big deal.... 8) woman-with-no-name, soon to apply for legal name change..... (why didn't i tell them my name was mwishka??! what was i thinking??) |

| 9thM, um, sorry - it wasn't such a problem....i wasn't offended or anything like that. but it did give me a chance to return the favor of making fun of SOME PEOPLE who make fun of me for being paranoid... see? at least my methods seem to work -- you found very little, and it wasn't damaging. (maybe i should have you put them back before other even more curious people go crazy googling and find stuff that i don't even know is out there! eeeek!) mwishka 8) (think i'll keep the dark glasses on, just in case.....) |
