| [slm] This sadly is the Worm.klez virus that is going around. You are not infected, but daily I get at least 5 to 10 of these viruses. These people may not even know who you are!! This is a tricky virus. When it attacks someone's computer it sends out the virus from all the addresses in their book, so they people get the virus sent to them, as well as it looks like they are sending the virus out!!! Don't worry if this is a hotmail account because hotmail disables the virus, outlook does too. [wlm] :-) Ayla_A :-) |

| [slm] The emails i find annoying are those that have content such as or similar to :- "Allah says : If you are ashmed of me, I will be ashamed of you" and "Pass this on to 5 people and you will receive a miracle tomorrow" 1. I learnt from one of the posts on this board that you CANNOT add words to what Allah swt has already revealed. If it's not in the Quran, it's not his words. I did searches on 2 seperate Quran search sites and each time only found the word ASHAMED used ONCE and never in the context as described above. The first website had it in Surah Baqarah :- The Koran 1 match. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [url=http://www.hti.umich.edu/cgi/k/koran/koran-idx?type=DIV0&byte=1320]The Cow[/url] [2.26] Surely Allah is not ashamed to set forth any parable-- (that of) a gnat or any thing above that; then as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, and as for those who disbelieve, they say: What is it that Allah means by this parable: He causes many to err by it and many He leads aright by it! but He does not cause to err by it (any) except the transgressors, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, i did not record the other surah, but it was in the 3rd Juz. As far as that "Miracle" email is concerned, we cannot make Duah on a gamble! It's like saying take this raffle and you could win a BMX bike tomorrow! >:( And i am sure i read somewhere that one must not make Duah with the intention of receiving reward - anyone can verify this please? Anyhow, just thought i'd vent my version of annoying emails :-) I have decided to do something other that just delete the emails. I have started to point these things out to the people that send me such emails as i am sure it is done more out of ignorance than anything else. Some people take cognisance of the facts, while others just don't send me emails anymore. Either way, Insha Allah they are getting the message. [slm] |

| Hadith called'Hadith Qudsi' are Hadith in which Allah has revealed in some way, they are narrated through the Prophet but they actually are from Allah. There is a collection of 40 of them, the name of which I can't quite recall now. I think this may be where the person got their quotes from. |

| [slm] :-) Jazak Allah Sr. Kareema. I will make a note of looking that up :) I think though that that email originated with Isa Alayhis Salaam's name and someone changed it to Allah swt.
