| bro? sis? seekingmercy, welcome to the madina! this is the first time i ever welcomed someone, because i'm um not muslim, not one of the "old"-timers here, and it's not my place to be doing that, BUT..........i couldn't stand to see your introduction sitting alone out here with nearly 20 views and NO greetings!? :'( if you've been reading here you know how nice a place it is, plus, if you went to the retreat you REALLY know how nice some of the people here are. (hee heee i don't even know who went except mohja and nouha - poor nouha! - and..um 7 and jannah......? but i know they're all really nice!) but, um, no more introduction than that?? don't you want to tell us even a little bit about yourself?? mwishka |

| don't you want to tell us even a little bit about yourself?? salams again name is bashir, so figure I am a ;-) (not that much beard , though :'() currently reside in atlanta, but going to spend some time in chicago doing some full time da'wah work. born in nigeria, west africa. as a matter of fact, I felt quite confident that that gave me an edge over the mosquitoes at the retreat 8)......boy, until the first hiking to the lake ???...those mosquitoes showed me they were north american mosquitoes >:(. , and they were gonna do to me what our own west african mosquitoes did to the colonizers (that's why they call it the death coast). next day, I was all geared up.. mosquitoe spray and all!!! love to get lost in intellectual discussions, but the retreat was a neat therapy for that :) Ma sha Allah met and experienced some of the most beautiful things ever in my life. Some very wonderful brothers and sisters, too. Alhamdulillah. u guys keep it up, and u will surely make it up there with the Salihoon. me too. Ameen.
