| um, i'm putting this here because it doesn't fit in right anywhere else, but also in light of the comment by that israeli woman on the plane as we landed in tel aviv, that "the (islamic) religious sites here are of new interest. they didn't used to be important. only since last year," as thought she really and truly believed that. wow! mwishka ============================================================================================= The Online Guide to Al-Haram al-Sharif in Jerusalem AT THE HEART OF JERUSALEM is the Noble Sanctuary, Al-Haram al-Sharif, enclosing over 35 acres of fountains, gardens, buildings and domes. [/quote] It really gets me, wow, they think like this here too...its umm, how do I say this nicely? "amazingly ignorant?"/"brainwashed senseless?"... >:( The "recent" places of religious interest are ALL jewish, eg the "Wailing Wall" etc...all the mosques they converted into synagogues, all the Islamic heritage places they renamed to "sound" hebrew...grrrr...it just makes me MAD! They had NOTHING in Palestine, and invented these things AFTER stealing them from the Muslims and in some cases the Christians as well. Anyway, hope to hear a bit more about this...
