| salaam Alikum On saturday july 6th at 7:00pm at the United Methodist chuch in schenectady located at 603 state st Scott Reiter the gentleman who lead the Un inspections team in Iraq will be speaking about his expierences over there and why there should be no new war in Iraq. Mr Reiter fought in the persian gulf war and afterwads spent 7 years leading the inspection teams in Iraq. After 7 years he decided to resign from his position after he realized that the US was not intrested in gathering information on weapons in Iraq. Find out his 1st hand perepecive about the brutal economic embargo and why he believes that there should be no new war in Iraq. This is a very important event not only to learn about the dire situation our brothers and sisters are in over there. But also we should become informed about why The US government should not go back into Iraq so we can speak out against this. Bush as of now wants to go to war with Iraq and in the process killing thousands of innocent iraqis. He has even talked about nuking baghdad if the war progress slowly. It is vital that we hear what Mr Reiter has to say also the event is free. |

| as salaamu alaykum, Have you heard that Scott Ritter's wife has been accused of being a spy?!! >:( >:( >:( That's just *very* convenient, considering that Ritter is one of very few who are willing to speak out against United States action/ planned action in Iraq.. it works in a lot of people's interest to have his name tainted. I have *a lot* of respect for the man and was really saddened to hear this. May Allah grant justice to those oppressed. wasalaam |
