| [slm] yo i feel left out, i keep on reading posts, replying, gaining knowledge Masha'allah yet i'm still a newbie...feels kindda like being a frosh in HS or College..y'all know that feeling right?..right... so what comes after newbie and how does one go about gettin there :P peace for the mideast ;), nur :-) |

| [slm] jazakallah khair sista, u're my new best friend :D yea u heard right, i'm fascinated and obsessed with the mideast subhan'allah... tell ya more about myself...well just made my big jump from teenhood to adulthood..yup the big two zero! quite frightening..i feel madd old but subhan'allah that's life...gotta make the most of it and strive to please Allah swt... that's about it...for now.. But hey, I am still considering a fulltime career as a ToysRUs kid...wanna be one too?? :-[ Anyways, ...I'm still a "newbie" as well :'( although I've been lurkin/learning/enjoying and posting a little bit here and there. I think we need to post more..to move on up the Madina ladder!! Soooo I look fwd to reading more of ur posts, and inshaAllah, when we both get up and above our "newbie" status, let's throw a party for the Madina-ans here on the board!! | [slm] halal party??!! i'm there, Insha'allah :D good to get a newbie to stand firm with me alhumdulillah...yea i know we gotta keep working on 'em posts..but i really truly cajt think of nothing to say.. well i'm out of the cartoon phase but cant run away from it b/c of my niece..dude she has yet to start Adam's World so i'm dreading that ::) so sis somaira, i pray we stay in touch and help one another in climbing this ladder of acceptance into the Madina Community so that one day, Insha'allah, we too can be with 'em cool kids 8) peace out ukhti, nur :-) |

| Assalamualaikum :) why of course it would be a "halal par-tay"..we'd have some [] to drink iA, we could watch those Adam's World videos that i KNOW you secretly adore (I must admit, when I had to show them to the kiddos in my Sunday School class, I was paying very close attention to every word said, it was rather..eh entertaining shall I say? Don't tell anyone tho!!). Okay, what else? Islam-Taboo?? lol I dunno..I'm running out of ideas, we need more halal entertainment! eh, anyone else on the board have any ideas? aw how cute, you have a niece, how old is she? are there any Adam plush animals? :-[ Maybe we should urge soundvision to come out with some lol. well, as for climbing the ladder, keep it up! we'll raise above this newbie status ia!! ok, well take care. ws Somaira :-) |

Hehe I know how it felt... my younger sistas were bombarding me with comments how I'm so old compared to them...sheeshh. ;D....actually I just turned 21 this year... but hey i'm actually excited... there's so much ahead...so many things i can do... hey brought lots of chips and bebzi with me... anyone brought any games with them? see yas 8) Wassalam :-) |

| [slm] so true sister An "the journey has just begun"..esp for us as newbies... lemme try to respond to both urself and sister somaira.. my neice is two years and some months old masha'allah..she's actually in the room with me right now playing with my khimaar and tryin to make it a salaat rug :D well at least she's using it for something good... yea sis An i recently turned 20..i dunno i wasnt all that excited about it..its one of those uncertain ages i guess..like 21, 18,16..they seem to be solid ages..lol scratch that..i just felt old and weird..20 doesnt become me..i'm still a kid inside and got much learning to do... well that's about it so let the par-tay..lol begin..yalla!!! peace out, nur :-) |
