| Assalamu alaikum I would like to know, who of you would propose (or did) to a brother? Or who of you would never ever and why? Or when would you dare to ask? And the ones who did: What made you to do this big step and how did the brother react? Did he get a big head (obviously :P ) ;) Would you encourage sisters to do so? if yes: why. if no: why? Well this is something which always made me curious...I'd like to know what the others think about that. I hope my question is not indiscreet. | Asalamu Alaikum, I am pleased to tell you that yes I have proposed to a Brother, and he is the one I plan on marrying Insha Allah. His answer was yes allhumdulilah. Me proposing rather than him hasnt changed anything, its not like I have more power in the relationship, Sister pelase pray for us we're trying to get married but my father wont say "yes". If I hadnt proposed I think I would have lost something very important in life, he felt I was too yougn at the time so he couldnt even think of it, but he said yes when i did :) |
