| Can anyone here provide me any informaiton on Mukhtar Maghraoui workshops? what they are about? I have seen some of this lectures on video tape. however, I have heard there are some camps he runs twice a year. If anyone here can provide me with as much detail as possible i would really appreciate it. I could not find any written works of his on the net either? any tips? |

| [slm] i think the two workshops that you are talking about is the retreat which is usually from mid june to the end near the adirondacks and he also participates in the alim program in michigan. of course he is invited to other small conferences here and there. if ur talking about the seminars he gives once a month, theyll usually be a posting here about it :) wasalam nouha:) |

| Salam, Yah..nouha's right. He does a retreat in the summer in june, but he also does another retreat in the winter in Ottawa, Canada. I am desperately in need of the contact information for Imam Mokhtar Maghraoui. I met him when he came through Toronto last year, but the phone number he left me has been disconnected. | [slm] actually Yunus he's not the "official" Imam there, Bro Djafar is. He just kinda teaches out of that Masjid and leads the prayer and stuff sometimes...but you may be able to get a message to him through there.. |

| [slm] I spoke to sheik djafar in regards to getting in touch with sheik MUkhtaar the other day and as sr jannah says leave a message on the masjids answering maschine and he will get back to you and/or leave your number and contact info with shk djafar he will pass it on Inshallah and if you are talking about his local halqaas and teach ins he holds for the fortunate ( those who attend) people of Capital district NY I think they start from mid september [wlm] |
