Assalaam u Alaikum

This was the first time that I every went to a convention.  I had the time of my life.  I met alot of brothers, bought alot of stuff, and gained alot of knowlege.  The YM area at the bazaar was excellent.  And the basketball competion on Sunday morning went well.  I don't think I have every played basketball that early before in my life.  I ran out of money before I could pick up one of your T-shirts.  Is YM going to be in Washingtion, DC at ISNA this August-September?

Asalamu Alykum,

I was talking to one of my friends yesteray and besides from all her hijab shopping  ;) ( btw the turkish hijabs were 4 for 10 bucks  :o  ) She summarized all the lectures for me. SubhanAllah at the end of one of  Imam Siraj's lecture, he did a
1 min fundraiser.. Imam Siraj said that he wanted 500 people to commit to donate one dollar each day for the rest of year i think. He actually went around and counted up to 300 sumthing people and than i guess they didn't have enough time. But subhanAllah what a brilliant idea. If we think about it just putting a dollar( or more/less for people who can/'t afford it) at the end of the day in a box or whatever and at end of each month donating it where ever. Sis/bros that were there can eloborate inshaAllah . So if 500 people truly committed to this, 500*1= $500 each day* 30 = 15000 each month :)
Oh yeah this would be *cough* a could mission to do ahem Br Khalid :)

Wow!! :o what a deal! i think they're usually cheaper at icna, at least it was last year when it was in c-town ;)  The prices are a wee bit inflated at isna, but hey it's all for a good cause right?  ;D
