Hmm... Are you sure you have cookies enabled? Make sure you're not on a public computer... and if you go on the board without logging in first just X out the box (don't click on close) and then login to your username.. |

Assalaamu alaikum,
there's about 100+ in there right now...
Hmm, I have been saving them since the start, and I have only 10. In the beginning the words changed daily, then they started repeating. I thought you had only put up 10 words in the database... So have you been actually a different word each day since ? (more than 10?) These are the words that have popped up on my computer. al-noor = the light, the brightness waleey = friend, protector uooHeeya = (It was) revealed al-naas = the people, mankind, human being waraa' = behind, in the rear of, at the back of, beside, in addition to wa3ada = (He) promised, made a promise, pledge al-noor = the light, the brightness al-noor = the light, the brightness uooHeeya = (It was) revealed hadaa = he guided, he lead to the right way wasalaam. |

[wlm] ok so when you log on to the page it creates two cookies.: 1. lasttip --- which is a certain # that says what tip # you are on 2. dont_display_tip --- which is a boolean that stores whether or not you are logging into the page twice in one day... so after you've seen the tip for that day and click on close it changes this to true.. and the next day it is reset to false again. so as for lasttip maybe you can go in and see what # it's on... in netscape you can go in and view it...but i don't think there's any way to change the number... but if you delete it, it will start from the beginning again... here's how you do it in IE: Start Internet Explorer. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options , and then click the General tab. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click Settings . Click View Files . On the View menu, click Details . Click the Internet Address column header, and then find the Internet addresses of the cookie files. For example, a cookie Internet address may be named similar to the following name: Cookie:username@websitename.com Click a cookie file to view it, and then press DELETE. If you are prompted to confirm that you want to delete the file, click Yes . Repeat this step for each cookie file. btw this is for an old discussion.. but guess what i found in an internet dictionary :) Lurk, lurking Viewing the discussions in a newsgroup or forum on a regular basis without contributing anything.
