| asalaamu aleykum, i was known as savannah before but i lost my password and the reminder said there was no username called savannah. my problem is my mum died on june 22 and i had to put notice in to move by august 31. i had it planned to go to my brothers until i found a place but now he doesnt want me there. i dont know what to do now. i dont care about myself but i have 7 birds that are my only family now. i dont know why i am posting this. i just need to get it out. i am hysterical right now and crying. i just dont know waht to do. this is my worst night mare come true. please pray for me. veronica-savannah |

| [slm] I'm sorry to hear about your mother's death. Is there any other family you have there, an aunt or uncle who might be able to take you in? Have you gone to your local mosque and asked if any sisters there had an extra room for you to stay at till you find a place of your own? As for your account, if I remember correctly, you were registered on the old board and not this one. You can always register here as savannah and it will create an account for you and email you the password. |

I think what brother bhaloo mentioned about going to the masjid and asking for help is probably the best thing you can do. Remember that Allah SWT does not place on us more burden than we can bear. Remember to turn to Allah SWT for guidance and protection and everything will be alright. 002.286 PICKTHAL: Allah tasketh not a soul beyond its scope. | [slm] I used to live with my Grandfather when I was single. I encountered the same problem you are, he died and I had to move... with no where to go, yet I had only three days to move out. I cried and cried. Subhanna Allah, it all worked out. I found a place and a roomate in those three days. I wasn't Muslim then, but became one while living in that apartment with the most supportive, very Christian roomate, one could have. Looking back, I shudder that I did not put more trust in Allah swt, as there is always relief from difficulty. About the birds. Call you local zoo and pet store... and see if they know anyone that would take them temporarily. Or ask at the Masjid. I would not mind taking care of some birds to help out a sister, so i bet you have someone like me there,too. Uh... on the lighter side... :o 7 birds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you have an avairy? |
