Dua in time of need...

ASA brother's and sister's,

I was wandering if there is a special dua to recite specifically for going through hardship? I have lost my job, health and the girl that I wanted to marry left me 9 months ago. I feel like there is no hope and I don't know what is going to happen. I feel like I am waisting away in this life. I was once a promising professional with a great future.  My health has really wiped me out. I see all my friends doing well and I am just withering away. I have been praying and crying to Allah but feel like its not helping.....don't know where to go. I had so many things that needed to be done. I guess that's just the way it goes. Some people just have a great life while others suffer.

while this may not bring lots of comfort,  Job had everything taken away from him by Satan, but he reamained faithful to God and was rewarded greatly.  In due time God will give you great blessings. One thing cannot be taken away is your relationship with the creator of the universe, and there is more blessings and riches in that then all the riches in the world.

bro mohammad,

i'm quite novice at praying, but i can offer you some of the ones people have given me or i've found.  i'll give you english, i hope that's ok.  (i could come back and type in the transliterations, if you prefer ...)

mwishka

O Living Sustainer i am seeking succor through Your mercy and i'm seeking safety from your punishment, rectify all of my affairs and do not leave me to my own soul, do not leave me to any one of Your creation, even the blinking of an eye (i.e., do not make me think that i depend on anyone but You).

whatever Allah willed was and whatever He did not will was not, and there is no ability or power except by the leave of Allah.

remove the suffering, Lord of mankind, and heal me, for You are the Healer, there is no healing except Your healing, the healing which leaves not any illness behind.  (say this three times)

O Allah!  there is nothing easy except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if it be Your will.

Thanks you everyone for all the kind words and support. You guys are great, mashallah.

May Allah give all of you the Jannah, in-shallah. I wish i could live near you all. I have checked out my condition with many doctors. I did have an in depth blood test done recently. Everything came out normal except one thing. That is the test for EBV (Ebstein Barr Virus). Now my Rheumatologist stated that it was nothing to be of concern with. But yet on the report it showing a level of 198 on the IGG which should be below 20. I will call him and ask again to get the clear answer on this. Is there any doctors on this site that could let me know what the report means?

Sincerely,
Mohammad

Asalaamu'alaikum Br. Mohammed,
Have you heard of the Du'aa book, (Fortification of the Muslim through remembrance and supplication from the Qur'aan and the Sunnah)?
It is by, Sa'eed Ibn' Ali Wahf Al-Qahtaani.
I use this a lot and it has  alot of Du'aa for many different things, it is a pocket size so it is nice to carry around with you!
Insha'Allah, I'm sure they would have it at your local musjid.
I will give you one Du'aa now from this book and I hope Insha'Allah it will help you!In english Insha'Allah.
'O Allaah, I am your servant, son of Your servant, son of your maidservant, my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You named Yourself with, or revealed in Your book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'aan the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety'
