As-salaamu alaikum!

I am a 13-year old bosnian muslim who lives in Sweden because of the war.

Before Ramadhan 1422 (2002) i didn´t make salaat and I wasn´t especially active, as a muslim.
But I always had niyya (intention) to learn salaat.

My parents have never been religious so they couldn´t teach me...
I took a book and learned the basics, after that everything else "came by itself" (of course, it was Allah (swt) who helped me), I wanted to learn more, more about Allah (swt), more about ibadaa, more about our beloved Prophet  Muhammad  [saw] and so on...

So now, alhamdulillah, I am a more active muslim!

Welcome younger bro. Merhaba Kako Si Ti ?  :)  [no not bosnian but know some budala friends ;)]  I pray Allah guides you through these next stages of your life. How lucky you are to find Islam at such a young age. So many regrets us older people have. Perhaps you can learn from our mistakes.

Take care Inshallah!

It was wonderful to read your story little bro  :) It's very encouraging to see the younger generation still keeping the deen very much alive. "Hur mor du?? " ;) I met some swedish youngsters who came to UK and that was the only phrase I learnt, oops, no, I know "Ja mor bra"  ;D The next few years will be tough but keep praying to Allah for steadfastness in your imaan  :) May Allah make it easy for you Hamdo and I hope other youngsters can learn from your good example  ;)
