[slm] assalam alaikum to all the citizens of madinat-al-muslimeen.I'm zaki and I'm a youngster from bangalore, india. :) My brother first introduced me to this site and i find it interesting.The areas of interest to me would be the Quran and dawah to non-muslims about islam by way of actions and deeds.Please suggest to me how ican go abvout this in my regular life..to all the non-muslims i would meet in the regualr course of a working day. Any business men here at madinat?I am grappling to find a balance with the altruism which islam advocates and the normal shrewdness which a regular business demands.How do i build up a value system which is fair yet realistic ?I'm a young man who gets confused some time about this [color=Maroon][/color] issue. Thats because as muslims we treat each other with fairness and honesty, but when we deal with those who dont share our faith..they might not believe in fairness and honesty and still not feel bad about it ..because it isnt a part of their value system. where do i compromise on somethings without losing my imaan by lying or double-talking?send me your suggestions , esp. if you have expereinced such a problem and been able to come to some kind of solution :-X |

| [wlm] I would love to come to chaarminaar or any other masjids there but iam too far away and stuck here in Albany for another three years at least when ever you have some chai think of me :) (our usual adda was kingsway before it closed down and then we moved over to savera but its not the same) so tell me more about you [wlm] |
