Husband Selling liquor and cigarettes?

Salam

My Muslim husband of a year told me that he wants to purchase a cigarette and liquor
store. He says that it will make us more money in less time. I don't want to be supported by
money made in haram. He won't listen to me and justifies it by saying that it's only
money and one day after he makes enough he'll go to Hajj and repent. :( What should I do?

So he is saying its ok to knowingly do wrong as long as there is intent to repent later for that wrong?

[slm] Correct me if I am missing the point here, but i was always of the understanding that one may not go for Haj with money obtained by Haraam methods / means?

This being the case, then hubby's justification of the matter is not so solid after all.  See Q&A here

Ask your husband at what day and time he will die....
If he is unable to answer this, please tell him not to guarantee a repentance for a later date, because that day may not come..
Tell him to fear Allah.
The one eats from haram is only feeding fire to his stomach, does he want to do this to himself and his family??

Why specifically a wine store? why not a fast food outlet? or a mobile phone shop or any other type of store?

ask him to think over a couple of business ideas before going for this one

Jabir son of Abd Allah (RAA) reported that he heard the messenger of Allah
(SAW) say in the year of the conquest of Makka:

" Allah and His messenger prohibit the sale of alcohol, dead animals, pigs and idols. "

Someone asked:

" Oh, messenger of Allah, what about the fat of dead animals? It can
be used to insulate ships, soften (tanned) hides, and provide light
   (e.g., candles). "

The messenger of Allah (SAW) answered:

" No, this too is forbidden. "  and then said:
" May Allah punish the Jews! When He made fat unlawful for them to
eat, they melted it, sold it and consumed its price. "
