Things to say for dhikr??

I hope this hasn't been done before, but what phrases or dua's in Arabic can you think of, that are good to be said for dhikr i.e. on a tasbeeh. Something that would be relatively simple in Arabic, but meaningful for a newly practicing Muslim and then some more complex Arabic dua's??
If you can throw in a translation, i'll even pass you on a  []   ;)

Here's an example, and a favourite of mine to say on tasbeeh;

"allahumma anta as-salaam wa minka as-salaam"

"oh allah you are the source of Peace and from You comes Peace"

jazakallah khair for your replies :)

Here are just a few inshaAllah:
-Subhan Allahi, wal hamdu lillahi, waallahu Akbar.
Glory is to Allah, and praise is to Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.

- La illah illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyi wa yumeetu wa Huwa 'ala kulli shai'in Qadeer.
There is no God but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is dominion and His is praise. He brings life and He brings death and He is Capable of all things.

one of my favorites:
- Allahumma inna as'aluka 'ilman naafe'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa amalan mutaqabbalan.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision, and deeds that will be accepted.

I pray these aren't too difficult, inshaAllah. And Jazakallahu Khairan for the bebzi!

well here are a few

"Subhan Allah" ,"Alhamdullilah" ,"Lailaha Illalah'', "Allahu akbar"

Then there are diffrent types of Isthagfaar the easiest is "Astagfirullah"

Then you have " La ilaha Illa anta Subahnaka inni kuntum minazzalimein"
There is no god but thou: glory to thee: I was indeed wrong!" Anbiya 21.87)- This is a Dua

Then you have the aayatul kursi

This book  The citadel of the beliver is very helpful because it has dikhrs and duaas with the refrence to the ahadith and arbaic scrpit with english transliteration and translation

I can think of many....but transliterating things myself can make me pretty nervous. So i'm going to give you another suggestion, there's an amazing book out there that has always inspired me to do more,  to bring myself closer to the nur of Allah swt,  Faza'il-E-A'maal , you should be able to find the english translation in an islamic bookstore, there's 2 volumes. The first volume has a great section on dhikr...among other things:).
