Are there any Name Brand's of Tooth Paste in the US market that are Halaal. I can't find any toothpaste at the several Halaal stores in my area and I know several are made with pork lipids. |

Lipids are just fat cels that don't turn completely solid if I remember my college Biology ;). Thank you for the list. |

Found a store in Queens NY that sells "Unique". A brand of Halal soap and toothpaste. Says it's accepted by the American Dental Association. 1-877-786-8200. I'm not promoting, just passing on what I've read. Never used this company or it's products. |

There is a company called Caravan Xpress that sells halaal toothpaste, soap and other items. I think their number is something like 1-800-maghrib, but I'm not sure, but you can find them on the net. |

[slm] I'd strongly recommend Tom's of Maine products. Their products are "free of artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colors, flavors, and animal ingredients and are never tested on animals." Here's their web site: http://www.tomsofmaine.com. For each product they list all the ingredients, their purpose and sources. You should be able to find these products in most grocery stores.' [slm] Mentioned already...AIM is a GREAT toothpaste. I mean it's a vibrant color, and it tastes really fresh, and it makes lotsa bubbles, so it feels good. the other reason I like it is that it doesn't have a whole range of product lines to choose from. It's straight up AIM. (Not like other brands: where you have to spend an hour in the aisle deciding which one to get). SF. |

assalamu alaikum the issue of halal toothpaste goes beyond pork, the animal ingredients might be derived from non-zabiha animals.they might also contain alcohol, and possibly other haram ingredients. there is a halal toothpaste that is certified halal in the US,they also sell halal soap. The brand is MINAR. you can go online for "Minar Halal Toothpaste",or you can type "Fikr Industries, LLC" . they have a website. There is also another toothpaste, called SIWAK-F Halal toothpaste. i do not know much about them. they are in Indonesian i think, but they sell overseas: http://www.siwak-f.com/index.html |

[slm] I use the SIWAK-F toothpaste. Its really good mashaAllah, but I would not recommend to use it each time you brush your teeth. (You brush your teeth atleast 3 times a day, right? :P) It's a little gritty, so I alternate using it and another kind... Other than that..it's great! Salam |
