Those were the exact same things that went thru my head when i heard about it... :D

I'll quote what it says in the form so hopefully u'll understand the idea behind the camp...

'What is wealth? What does it mean to be wealthy? And what relevance does today's  'popular culture' have to the UK's Muslim Youth? What should our aims, aspirations, and ambitions be in life? Is there a place in Islam in all of this?'

So basically these dieas will be discussed as well as taking part in the activities, which will help to develop leadership skills, strong team work and patience, inshallah.

I haven't managed to figure out what pioneering is yet...Anyone else?

Saffiyah do you know how old the participants at the camp need to be? Will there be any workshops or guest speakers there?

I think in this context, pioneering  means developing new, innovative ideas to improve the situation of the Ummah. Maybe we'll generate ideas  for training courses which can train young Muslims as future Muslim leaders in Britain.  ???

p.s. I want to be a Billionaire.

There is no age restriction.  I think the youngest age expected is 11 but younger girls eg 9 or 10 will be accepted, inshallah.
U have to bear in mind, I doubt there will be any creche facilities.
There won't be any guest speakers as I think the aim of the camp is for sisters from all over the UK to meet up, discuss the issues, participate and enjoy the activities and inshallah learn some team skills.

If u want some more info u can e-mail the sister at the e-mail address, or IM me and i can e-mail u an application form.
If ur interested, there are only 70 places, and it's on a first-come-first-served basis.

This is real late buuutt....apparently the camp was wicked..my friend went for about 3 days i think. There were no age restrictions, just people above the age of 10..or 11 i think. Also, there was a guest speaker..br. Shabbir 'Ali from the US, I think.

Overall it was good, so I've been told.  ;D

Peace
