this is part of - Khutbah At-Tabouk: Rasoolullah Sermon

Rasoolullah Sallallahu A‘Alayhe Wasallam first Praised Allah Taala And Thanked Him, Then Said:
Verily the most truthful word is the Book of Allah. The most trustworthy bond is the word of piety (taqwa). The best religious community is the Community of Ibrahim a‘alayhe sallam. The best example (Sunnah) is the example of Muhammad sallallaahu a‘alayhe Wasallam.
The noblest speech is a word spoken in remembrance of Allah (Dhikrullah).
The finest of narratives is the Quran. The best of affairs is that is pursued with firmness (‘Awazim).
The worst in matters of religion are those things which are newly introduced without sanction (Bidah).
The best of the ways (Hudaa‘) in the one trodden by the prophets.
The noblest death is the death of the martyrs (Shuhada).
The worst blindness is straying (ad-dalaalah) from the right path after receiving true guidance.
The best of actions is that which is beneficent.
The best of guidance is that which is put into practice.
The worst blindness is the blindness of the heart (al-Qalb)
The upper hand (the hand which gives charity) is better than the lower hand (the one which receives it.)
The little that suffices is better than that which is abundant but tends to make one oblivious of God.
The worst apology is that which is tendered when death stares one in the face.
The worst remorse (an-nadamah) is that which is felt on the Day of Judgement.
Some people do not come to Friday prayers except with hesitance and delay, and some of them do not remember Allah except at long intervals and without full devotion.
The tongue which is addicted to lies (Kidhb) is the worst of false actions.
The best detachment (Ghina) from worldly possessions is the contentment of the heart.
The best provision for life’s journey is piety (at-Taqwa).
The greatest wisdom is fear of Allah (Makhafatullah), the Mighty, the Great.
The best thing that can be instilled in the hearts is faith and conviction (al-Yaqin). Doubt is disbelief (al-Kufr).
Wailing over dead (an-Niyahah) is an act of Days of Ignorance (Jahiliyah).
Deceit is the road that leads to the Fire of Hell.
Intoxication (as-Sukr) leads to burning in the Hellfire, obscene poetry is the work of the devil, and intoxicants (al-Khamr) are the mother of all evil.
The worst thing unlawfully eaten is the property which belongs to orphans.
Blessed is he who receives admonition from others.
Each one of you (ultimately) resorts to a space of four cubits (the grave) and his affairs are transferred to the Hereafter.
Things can be judged only by their end or final conclusion.
The worst dream is false dream.
Whatever is in store is near.
To abuse a believer is an act of transgression (Fusuq). Taking up arms against him is disbelief (kufr). To backbite him is disobedience to Allah.
Inviolability (and sacredness) of his property is like the sacredness of his blood.
He who swears by Allah (falsely) in facts tells a lie against Him.  He who forgives others, is forgiven by Allah for his sins. He who suppresses his anger, Allah rewards him. He who faces misfortunes with perseverance and patience (Sabr), Allah compensates him. He who strives for fame (to show off) is disgraced by Allah. He who sows patience and forbearance, Allah gives him double reward. He who disobeys Allah, Allah will make him suffer torment (Adhab) of the Hell-Fire.
I seek the forgiveness of Allah
I seek the forgiveness of Allah
I seek the forgiveness of Allah

On the authority of Tamim Al-Dari that the prophet said:

“Religion is sincerity”. We said: “To whom?” He said: “To Allah and His Book, and His messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk”.

(Narration : Muslim)
