| IN THE NAME OF ALLAH [size=5][color=red]America and the People of Aad[/color][/size] By: Seiful Islam [color=teal]The nation of Aad was one of the greatest tribes at that time. They used to have power and money that the others didn't have. They were considered as the "Greatest" states among the other states at that period of time. It was like the the Great Satan (America) and the Western Arrogant States of this time. The only differnce is that Aad had no competent. For the power they had, no tribe or state had the ability to defy or oppose them. It is the nature of the tyrrants and arrogants throughout the ages. {Now the Aad behaved arrogantly through the land, against (all) truth and reason, and said:"Who is superior to us in strength?" What! Did they not see that Allah, who created them, was superior to them in strength? But they continued to reject our signs!}...Holy Quran Fussilat 15. Today is so similar to yesterday! The "Great" and arrogant states at everytime are the states that posses power, money, and technology. They use these sources dominate and oppress the others who are weaker then them. The people of Aad used to enslave people by their power, they used to oppress the others by their money and technology. They used to have mighty bulidings and unique architecture. You can see their architecture from a far as if it was a sign, but it was not a sign, it is only the high palaces of the tyrants. They used to have a palace and a castle everywhere on earth. {Do ye build a landmark on every high place to a muse yourselves?}...Holy Quran al-Shua'ara 128. Today, in every part of the world we see a spot and a sign for the "Great Satan". The most important strategical places have been dominated by the Arrogants, all the rich countries with their natural resources were colonized directly or indirectly by the Great Satan. The terrorist state of"Israel" is nothing but a sign of the signs of the Great Satan who planted it in the heart of the Holy Land that God prohibited them to enter. The people of Aad had reached the climax of the industrial civilization . As Allah (SWT) said in His Holy Book: {And do ye get for yourselves fine buildings in the hope of living therin (forever)?...Quran al-Shua'aera 129. They used factories to ingrave the mountains and to build the mighty palaces that last for hundred years if God wanted it to last. This the nature of the people of power and money. The nature of the tyrants everywhere and everytime. This image is standing before our eyes everywhere. There is no need to describe the castles of kings and the palaces of the presidents and tyrants , as if they will live in their palaces for ever! If Aad designed houses of the mountains to vie with the other nations, the Great satan built the highest bulidings, walls, and palaces to reach mountains and clouds, fot nothing but to show off their muscles and their arrogance. If you want to see the arrogance of Aad closely, look at what the Great Satan has done against the oppressed nations. It is not only Aad was arrogant and aggressive who violated the human rights of the weak. {And when ye exert your strong hand, do ye do it like men of obsolute power?}...Holy Quran al-Shua'ara 130. Every nation that produce the destruction tools and weapons to destroy the others, the wrath and punishment of God will come down to them. Allah will punish this nation with a painful torment as he punished the nation of Aad and Thamud. The is the way and the law of Allah (SWT) {So they rejected him, and we destroyed them, verily in this is a sign; but most of them do not believe. And verliy thy Lord is he, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful}...Holy Quran al-Shua'ara 139-140. On the other hand, we see the rightous people stand proudly before the ignorance and throne forces, because they are very certain that Allah will destroy the wrong-doers. The arrogants of this world see themselves as the strongest for the power and the weapons of mass destruction they have, but if we go back to Aad, we see that it was an illegitamate and wrong arrogance. Allah (SWT) who created them and who gave them the power, is much stronger than them and more powerful, He is able to destroy them at any moment! Their feeling of this power is false because Allah certainly will destroy them. A verey painful and power full destruction will come down to them as he destroyed the people of Aad. It is not new to the messengers and the callers to the reliogn of Allah to be disbelieved or be opposed by people. The nature of the unbelievers is one over the centuries because the lying and falsehood line is one throughout the ages. The denial of the Message is one, therfore; the destruction of the unbelievers is one and similar! {if they treat thy (mission) as false, so did the people befort them (with their prophets). The people of Noah, the Aad and Thamud}...Holy Quran Haj 42 The destiny of Aad was the destruction and the strong cold wind on the days of their aridity and drought. It is the same destruction that the Great Satan and all tyrants will face. The destruction of Aad is waiting all the disbelievers and liars . It is an endless lesson that will remain throughout the history of the Mission of the true religion of Allah. {The Aad (people ) rejected (truth); then how terrible was My Penalty and My warning? For we sent against them a furious wind, on a day of violant disaster, plucking out men as if they were roots of palm-trees torn up (from the ground) }...Holy Quran al-Qamar 18-20 It is a lesson to all the faithful to stand proudly in front of the tyrants and disbelievers. It is a present scene befoe the believers to look at. {And the Aad, they were destroyed by a ferious wind, exceedingly violent; he made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession; so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as if they had been roots of hollow palm trees tumbled down!, then seest thou any of them left survivng?}...Holy Quran al-Haqqa 6-8 All the natural forces are the soldiers of Allah. The wind that God sent to Aad was but one of these forces that can be realized by the open sights but can't be seen by the open eyes! The wind is conscious and commanded by God to do its mission. It is natural for people to see and hear the wind, but the strong wind that roots out the houses and trees and kills many people is not natural. It is sad that people don't learn a lesson from it. The Prophet Hud (as)-like any other prophet-defied the tyrants and the unbelievers of his nation. He stood against the most powerful tyrant of his time. He was not afraid of them. He was afraid of nobody except Allah (SWT). {( it is the practice of those) who preach the Messages of Allah, and fear Him, and fear none but Allah. And enough is Allah to call ( men) to account}...Holy Quran al-Ahzab 39. He was armless without any weapon except the weapon of faith. He was facing a very strong people, and despite that he fought them. Then when he despaired of their guidance, he renounced them. The Prophet Hud had nothing except his trust and faith in Allah. One who rely on Allah and trust Him, will not care about the power and the mighty of people, because he knows that Allah will destroy them, and will replace them sooner or lator. {We say nothing but that (perhaps) some of our gods may have seized thee with imbecility. He said:"I call Allah to witness, and do ye bear witness, that i am free from the sin of asccribing to Him, other gods as partners! So scheme (your worst) against me, all of you, and give me no repike}...Holy Quran Hud 54-55. As a matter of fact, it is an invitation to trust Allah and rely on Him in all our objectives to change the nation and return it to the right path. It is an invitation from Allah via the prophet Hud to stand aginst the tyrants and arrogants and challenge them as our prophets did. Whatsoever the people reach the power and arrogance, they will never reach what the nation of Aad. The nation of Aad was the strongest and the most powerful nation among the other nations, yet they were destroyed by Almighty Allah. It is only a few years and the arrogants will face the same destiny as Aad. {As in the case of those before you; they were mighter than you in power, and more flourishing in wealth and children. They had their enjoyment of their portion; and ye have of yours, as did those before you; and ye indulge in idle talk as they did. They! -their works are fruitless in this world and in the hereafter, and they will lose (all spiritual good). Quran al-Tawba 69. Whatsoever the power of the aggrressive tyrant, it is nothing if compared to the power of Allah (SWT). Thus, we must stand against all tyrants of our time and challenge them as how our Prophet Hud stood and as how how the Prophet Moses stood against Pharoah. {Moses said:"I have indeed called upon my Lord and your Lord (for protection) from every arrogant one who believes not in the Day of Account}...Quran Ghafir 27 {Say: Can you expect for us (any fake) other than one of two glorious things:( Martyrdom or Victory)? But we can expect for you either that Allah will send His punishment from Himself, or by our hands. So wait, we too will wait with you}...Holy Quran Anfal 52[/color] [color=blue]And Praise be to the Lord of the Worlds![/color] Seiful Islam |
