| [slm] What are some things (edible or crafts..or both) can be done with rose petals? Please hurry before they go brown they are already plucked. HEre is a few things i thought of: there is rose water potpuri used in handmade paper any ideas? |

| Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullah, How about having them pressed and have them as decorative pieces on bookmarks? or just... frame it up, with a nice poem written on the side? Allahua'lam :-) |

| as'salaamualikum ;D my dad eats my moms rose petals :-X there's a really good book about all these sorta things @ 1/2 price book store..but i don't know the name of it :( sorry..just go to the arts and craft section..it's labeled ;) |

| [wlm] bismilla what a great idea masha'Allah. but sounds a little hard. worth trying for sure one day insha'Allah. (maybe next year which is only time i get the roses on anniv. LOL) princess you made me laugh with eating it, i know some people put it in certain salads. what's the name of the book? sisters pressing is something i am doing now. jazakuma Allahu khayran. The other i am making a balm with. Here is how if you want to know: you take the petals and put it in about a quarter cup olive oil in jar. turn over a couple of times a day while it is by window sill in teh sunshine or somewhere warm anyway. then you drain the oil, it will be nicely scented with roses, you add beeswax and some essential oil. I plan to split into two. one with eucaliptis to use like vix since it is almost cold season, that way it is made and used with tender love and care. and the other with lavendar for helping to sleep, and nice dreams, as he also gets wound up with studying. |

| [slm] I put petals in the pages of a book, and I let them dry. SubhanAllah, they still preserve their original color, and they're soo pretty still....Then you can use them to decorate your room, shelves, books, etc. Have fun!!! [wlm] Betul |
