Inauguration
Mr. Rashid Al Leem, Director General, Hamriyah Free Zone. An expert on management and leadership studies.

[Spoke very highly about the contribution made by the Indian expatriate community in the UAE. The fact that he attended this event just after returning from an important business meeting portrayed his generosity to the Indian community and his interest in this noble cause.]

"First of all, I like to thank each one of you who invited me to this great function. I just came from a business trip to India, Kerala that is. I think most of you are from that part of the world.

I was invited to this function and it is part of my commitment to support the people who live with us. Our nation has been in the forefront. Our nation has always maintained good relations with the Indian subcontinent. We are a part of you and you are a part of us. There is no question of the age-old trade relationship between India and the Arab world dating back to hundreds of years.

I remember that 40 years back even drinking water we used to bring from Iraq and India. Those were the humble days. But today, Al hamdu lilllah, by the blessings of Almighty UAE is a developed nation. There are more than than two hundred nationalities live in love and harmony and above all the different nationalities don't just come for a vacation or as tourists, instead they are all filled with the intention of developing and uplifting their respective homelands.

Thank you once again for inviting me and wish you all the best.
