| [color=Blue]I had found a program called "The Hidden Truth Behind the Gulf War" on a newsgroup and downloaded it and burned it to watch on my VCD player. Well, I watched the program and was absolutely disgusted. I already knew the Gulf War for the US was nothing about protecting Kuwaitis and Saudis from an Iraqi invasion but strictly for their own interests, but I never knew what I saw last night. The US made weapons made out of Depleted Uranium which is radioactive for 4.5 million years!! They used it because they have so much of the "waste" after the nucleor bomb experiments they needed to get rid of it. It is more dense then lead and can easily pierce through armored vehicles. Those US soliers were never told about this fact and would come across areas they had attacked and would sift through debris and such to pick up items as "war souvenirs". They were also setting up tents and living on top of soil that had been previously attacked by the US and saturated with the Depleted Uranium for up to two months!! And yes, even though there were experimental shots, 3 of them exactly given to many of the Gulf War soldiers, no wonder there exists the "Gulf War" syndrome!! I want to say "How can the US justify what they did to Iraq by infecting it for the next 4.5 million yrs with radiation?? And on top of that to infect the US soliers by immersing them in it also? Their own people!!" But then again, they have done it before like Agent Orange in Vietnam and yet when the US soldiers became sick the government told them they were not exposed to enough of it to get the symptoms they got. In Iraq, on top of the sickness of the sanctions which is starving it citizens, now cancer is spreading in so many, and so many of them are children. According to the program, in Iraq, two deformed babies are born everyday. I was crying so hard in disgust over this!! I had never heard of the weapons made out of depleted uranium before and when I was discussing it with friends, neither did they. How many Americans here don't even know this truth? It is disgusting, absolutely disgusing!! Now my dreams of someday being able to enter Iraq to help the needy children over there is never going to happen. Who would want to knowlingly become exposed to that!! I just cannot comprehend it all... except that only evil minds would allow this to happen...[/color] |

| [slm] Some time ago (perhaps 2 years) I posted a link to pictures of the children born from this war crime committed by the U.S. government. They are severely deformed and in many cases don't even look human. This gulf war syndrom that we hear so much about, is really the effects of the radiation.
