| The New Brunswick Islamic Center is offering the following courses Taught by Sheikh Jihad Hashim Brown Course #1: To Know Muhammad: The Characteristics of the Prophet (from the Hamziyya of al-Busiri) Dates: October 12th, 19th, 26th & November 2nd Time: Saturdays 1 - 3pm (immediately following dhuhr prayer) Place: The New Brunswick Islamic Center Course #2: The 99 Most Beautiful Names (from Ghazali's Maqsad al-Asna) & The Etiquettes of Research and Debate [adab al-bahth wa al-munazara] Dates: October 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th Time: 7 - 8:30pm Place: The New Brunswick Islamic Center For more information, visit www.nbic.org, email events@nbic.org, or call 732-214-1547 Directions: The New Brunswick Islamic Center is easily accessible from the NJ Turnpike (Exit 9), US Rt. 1, and Rt. 18. From either the NJ Turnpike Exit 9 or US Rt. 1, take Rt. 18 North towards New Brunswick. At the second traffic light, follow the jug-handle making a left onto Commercial Avenue. Follow Commercial Avenue past two traffic lights, and the fourth Street on the right will be Comstock Street. Make a right onto Comstock Street. At the second stop sign you will hit Remsen Avenue, and the New Brunswick Islamic Center will be on the far corner at the intersection of Remsen and Comstock. The entrance is located on the side of the building. |
