Asalaamu Alaikum ;-) Apparently they have plenty of people who have been but are still on the lookout for those who intend to go next year. [hr] DOCUMENTARY ON THE HAJJ 2003 - ARE YOU INTERESTED Next year Channel 4 News is planning a major season of films about the nature of Islam and what it means to be a practising Muslim in the world today. The centrepiece of this season will be daily coverage from Saudi Arabia of the Hajj. This will take the form of nightly films charting the progress of the Hajj and the pilgrims making it. These films will focus on the experiences and thoughts of a small number of pilgrims from around the world who we would follow through the week of the Hajj. I'd like to speak to Muslims who are intending to perfom the Hajj in February 2003 and might be interested in sharing their experiences. Our aim with these films is to look at the Hajj on a personal, human level as well as a spiritual level. We want to explore the reasons people choose to perform Hajj, as well as the way in which performing Hajj changes some peoples lives. If you are GOING on the Hajj, have BEEN on the Hajj or WANT to perform the Hajj, please contact me now: 0207 833 3000 x 2485 or bridget.bakokodie@itn.co.uk Bridget Bakokodie Assistant Producer Channel 4 News (+44) 207 833 3000 x 2485 (tel) (+44) 207 430 4453 (fax) bridget.bakokodie@itn.co.uk Independent Television News Limited, Registered No. 548648 England, VAT Reg. CNN have obviously done it before but it’s the first time in the UK that Hajj will have got this kind of attention. |

Assalamulaikum Last year they had a very similar programme as part of BBC Islam Season. MashaAllah it was really good, and an insight for those who have not been, Muslims and non-Muslims. Wasalam |
