| [slm] Okay I just watched Jerry Falwell and his passi spit out the stupidest/ most ignorant/ most hateful distorted words on the end of time, the new budding christian/zionist love against Muslims, and the infamous "Prophet Muhammad is a terrorist" comment. Speaking of such poor journalism, in the whole section they had Jewish representatives, Christian right winged spokesmen, and not even one Muslim spokesperson to counter the slanderous comment made by the Khabith. Also, when he made the comment, instead of being asked about his sources (any self respecting journalist would have done so), the guy incites him further "So what you are saying is , Moses set an example for Jews (love), Jesus set an example for christians (love) and Muhammad set an example for the Muslims (terrorism)" and Jerry Falwell dramatically agrees. And of course the beginning where they preach Cleansing of the muslims from the "jewish holy land"...okay what i don't understand is there *are* Palestinian Christians being oppressed, thrown out of their homes, etc. yet none of this was mentioned when they were talking about how the Christians and Jews are now "ganging" up against Muslims. hmm...is it Muslims, Arabs, or both. Inshaallah I will draft up a letter, when I am calmer and have gathered my thoughts properly. But I just felt like venting. I think the media has fallen to depths of such trash sensationalism that truth has become as dispensable as yesterday's junk food(for a lack of better metaphor) >:( I am soooooooo angry! >:( Maliha :'( [wlm] |

| [slm], yeah i know, i was upset too, check out the ummah community center i put up an article about what falwell said. i don't know what can be done about a person who wishes to do so much damage, except by us trying to give dawah as much as possible. wasalam, red |

| [slm], Those beasts are nothing but liars, if they really loved mosa alayhis salaams or isa alayhis salaams then they would adopt his character. Those shaytans lie, drink like a fish, are corrupt and think that the God of Christians or Jews belongs only to them. In fact they go so lkw that they change the verses of the scriptures to suit them. Yet, using deregotary terms for our religion and for the seal of all prophets [saw] is nothing new, what we must do is more action, the prophet of Allah has said oppose their ways. So, we must keep long beards, put surma in our eyes, adopt the long jabbas and act upon nearly each and every Sunnah of the prophet [saw]. They will never be pleased until we adopt their evil ways so let us oppose them. The prophet of Allah was called all sorts of foul names, from mad man to magician yet those who were calling the names soon fell silent or accepted his words. It's been happening ever since the Prophet [saw] started his dawah. Allah has sealed the hearts of these people and none can guide them. Instead, let us practice the deen and follow the Sunnah, since actions speak louder than words.
