[slm] The Numbing Trance Haunting strains of unspoken promises Beckons drunkenly to the unlistening mind A beguiling rythm mesmerising the heart The slow bewitching of the sleeping soul Leaden feet tracing lost steps Dancing numbly to empty sounds As the Piper plays his cursed flute The end of the parade hearkens near The pulsating sounds grow in crescendo Dancing wildly to their certain end A numbing trance, a fulfilled prophecy Amidst the enchantment of the Piper The echoes of the adhan engulfed The end is nigh.
