| Assalaamu alaikum brothers and sisters I am organising an Eid presentation to the rest of the school that I am working at. The presentation will be done by my form class, that is a group of 30 11 year olds. There are only 3 muslims in this group and the others are non muslim. Any suggestions about how to go about it. I will be introducing the meaning of Islaam and Eid on Monday and thereafter they will be putting together some ideas about the 'show' they have to put on. I am competing with the other classes that are going to be doing presentations on shirkish festivals.....so I need as many ideas as possible to make it the best Eid 'show' ever! JK |

| [wlm] I will give you scene #1... if I am on the right track I will keep going. The stage is dark ...... A father, and his children... or a bunch of kids with Kufi's and scarves are on a hill top. They have blankets and binoculars and a picnic basket. A projector lights up the backdrop of the sky. The new crescent moon begins to rise. A child notices it and joyously says Eid Kareem! The kids are ever so happy. The scene dims... the stage reopens with the family praying witr prayer.... |

[i]says imaazh while furiously taking notes for future reference[/i] ;) Um, maybe a mini iftar/suhur if you can organise something of the sort? have members of the group explain the situation, then maybe later share the little banquet with the rest of the class. | [slm] how about u show that the girls decorate their hands with mendhi to celebrate eid!!!, as this seems to be very popular with a lot of non muslims too at the moment?????? |
