| [slm] JazakAllah ...this is a wonderful site...I've always been interested in Islamic history...this site provides a wonderful opportunity to increase my knowledge ..... The layout of the site is pretty attractive which helps a lot because history is a subject which tends to become a little overwhelming with all those names and dates :) Do you know of any site which can tell the names of the old cities and simultaneouly what those places are called nowadays......as well as their location according to the current maps.... A friend of mine once nearly managed to convince me that 'Farisi (Persian language) ' was French....... :P ;D. Novices like me would be really thankful :-* :-* :-* |

| as salaamu alaykum, sorry sis I don't know of any sites like that :( that's a pretty cool idea though :-[ another awesome site with tons of cool info is : http://cyberistan.org/ Check out their section on Islam in the Americas *before* Columbus!! |
