| Salam alaikum, :-) Just seeing how everyone is doing. Alhamdulilah, things here are ok. So, has anyone used the chat thingy yet? Everytime I log on nobody is in there. The site does seem to be a little slower since the chat has been an option though, or maybe that is just my computer? The weather in Alex is sooo nice now, alhamdulilah. We have the nicest breeze during the day. I really want to go to that library that just reopened after 1,700 years of being closed! I hope its not just a reference library though, I want to bring books home with me. 8) Ramadan is coming so soon now. I think we have about 14 or 15 days to go! I'm so excited. Does anyone do anything special for Ramadan? I've been revising my Quran that I have memorized in the past. It seems the more I memorize the more I get messed up. I mix up my surahs that sound alike and get stuck on what verse should come next. Does anyone else have this problem? Ok, some wise advice from wise ol' me: Don't poor tea and milk on your keyboard. ;) The sugary fluid was spilled on mine today. Now all my keys are sticking when pressed. The ffffffffffffffffffffff is the worst. <------ that was only pressing it once. :'( I hope if I take it all apart and clean it the problem will be fixed. :) Ok, now you all can see I'm really truely bored because im talking about nothing. | [slm] Hope you're doing great by the grace of Allah. I heard about the new library in alexendria. I even checked out their website. They didn't have any real pictures but the computer generated pictures were awesome. It looked something out of a star wars movie, so futuristic. this reminds me of something. someone(non muslim) mentioned that the original library at alexendria burned down during the time of Omar ibn Khattab(ra). And he somehow accused him to be responsible. Is there any truth do this allegation? Oh and truthfinder you're stuck with those sticky keys. It happened to me once and I thought the same thing. I thought after a day or two it would dry up and be back to the way it was. But to my dissappointment even after a week they didn't stop sticking. I had to buy a new one altogether. Traveler |
